ok, i'm setting up a convoy meet and time for the san fernando people to head on over to the track. There is a Conroy's restaurant in glendale that have a huge parking lot. some of you have already been there at a past meet. they are across the street from this mobil station:

Here is a schedule of the times for calispeedway:

line up 12pm
tickets on sale 2pm
tech inspec. 2pm
racing starts 4pm
racing ends 11pm

So I am setting the Meet/Convoy time to:

10:30 Meet.
11:00 Leave for Calispeedway

My buddy with the STI cant make it now. BTW I drove it tonight and it was very impressive. I was WOT shifting his brand new car at 7K. He has the Godspeed downpipe and Blitz intake. I am still working on the 2 EVO owners. They both have exhausts and intakes now. I am getting so ancy. See you guys there!

like Brian i wouldn't mind makeing it but since i am gona be racing with him on the 18th i can't do back to back 4 hour drives eventhough i would like to hang with the SoCal guys again.

I'm going to try to make it out there now that the weather is cooler now. Last time I went in August-- the best time I could run was 13.71 @100.28 mph. Hopefully I can improve on that. Last time I went I showed up at 2 and we had to wait outside the gates in a long line for two hours---Probably wait till after 4 to show up. see you guys there.

 

I will try to make it out this Saturday, I'm going to the LA auto show hopefully early then cruise over to the track. We'll see how the time goes.

 

It was extremely busy yesterday, only got 2 runs in. My best for the night was 13.53 @ 104.62 in the SRT. There were a few EVO's doing well. One had a 13 flat @ 104 while some others were mid 13's.

 

Thats pretty quick for a srt. I didn't make it last weekend but I'm probably going to jump out there this weekend. I don't really feel like waiting all night though just to get a couple runs in. During the summer I think I had about ten holes on my card by the end of the night.

 

They aren't open this weekend. the 24th is the next race day.


Hopefully if I will learn how to launch. I can get into the 12's next time with a decent 60ft. 2.3 60 ft's is just embaressing.
