Network Engineer moved to SOCAL
I recommend trying http://www.teksystems.com
They are a temp company that specializes in the computer field...even if they do not have jobs in your area, they can probably recommend you to someone else. I worked for them when I first left the military. It was pretty nice & I almost got two perm jobs out of them, but another company that was hounding me for a long time gave me an offer I couldn't refuse...
Too bad you don't have a military background...could have hooked you up with my current company if did...
Well anyway good luck & put your resume out on http://www.monster.com too...

I am a plastics engineer, i design and mold polystyrene, polypropylene, polyethylene, and other assorted plastics for cannulas, facemasks, rebreathers, nebulizers, and all the other things you wear regarding aeration and passageway breathing. We have to adhere to the same FDA regs and SOP's as you guys.

Ah, the Medical Device arena. The less regulated half of the industry. You guys are lucky in a lot of ways. All you have to do is prove similarity to a preexisting device to get your approvals. We have to prove safety/efficacy with 3 tiers of studies at least. And that takes years to accomplish and millions of dollars.

i just design plastic molded stuff using solidworks, so i dont work in regulatory affairs. the closest i get is the design of course have to be within the SS's (what we like to call the reg aff people) liking and such. however we did get our audit last week. that was hell on wheels.
