Sunday march 1st cruise- ROUTE CHANGED DUE TO SNOW IN PAYSON

Sunday march 1st we will cruise the 89 up from wickenburg to sedona. I've changed the route because there will be snow in payson. We will meet at the Mcdonald's front parking lot at I17 and Carefree highway at 1230 pm. We will then drive to wickenburg, and out to the 89. The route takes us up through yarnell, prescott, and eventually to cottonwood. We can choose to have lunch in Jerome . We will then head through cottonwood, and out to sedona to cruise through oak creek. Who's in?

 

I would love to attend a run. However, the weather is supposed to be not so great this weekend.... Any thoughts on pushing it out to the following weekend?

 

negative, I'll be on the opposite side of the country next week. I'm in a turbo veloster fwd. I'm not too worried about a little bit of snow, it might make for some good photo ops. I think we'll be ok. plus you're an evo, you've got AWD

 

Well I wasn't concerned of driving in it, I was just thinking in terms of enjoyment.

 

I think the roads will be ok.I don't think it'll be bad the whole way. I'll keep an eye on the weather up until sunday..if it looks like its going to be crap, we can always change the route to go up the 89 to sedona. I'm always down for that as well. Hows that sound?

 

I grew up in Sedona, so that route always sounds good to me!
