My paint is looking pretty bad and have a few dings on the body so it's time to clean her up. What are some good body shops in SoCal? Preferably Around Ontario/Fontana. Thanks.

 

it really comes down to your budget. I dont have an evo, but when I had the car in paint for prep, it went like this


panel fitting and gaping measurements done.

dents were removed

I marked all of the areas to make sure the metal work was done perfect.

Base coat done with out metallic went back and marked all of the wavyness issues corrected.

after many issues to get the paint to match right since my car isn't sold in the USA the paint offered didn't match per the Nissan books and the KL0 sold in japan has more metallic "flash" = metallic flake in the paint then the usa version.

so getting the paint right - done ....................not really

use polarized sun glasses to check the paint metallic continuity in the direct sunlight. this way you will see if there is any paint blotching.......

once finished this is the end result.................
