I am going to LA next week and I wanted to ask people to recommend performance part shops in the area..

I am looking for parts for my RA and also the SAFC ECU patch harness

anybody know if there is a shop in the area that would have the patch harness in stock?

If you mean LA as in Los Angeles, you will be very close to Road///Race Motorsports and many other tuning shops. Rob at Road///Race has been developing parts for the Ralliart already, check out the link and see what he has to offer

Yes, they have a shop and a bay for installations. See pic below, although he usually has 2 or 3 of us bugging him at a time on a normal day. That's from when the entire SCLC meets there for a good time! How far are you travelling from?

Also, I recommend calling him in advanced if you have a specific part so he can check inventory or hold it for you.

Plenty, RRM is just the most lancer specific shop. RMR is in Huntington Beach. There are a few Autobacs locations including Irvine and Thousand Oaks. Darkside Racing, OHC, and Upgrade Motoring are in Northridge (north LA county). Hawaii racing is in Simi Valley. Options Auto Salon is somewhere around Santa Clarita. PAW has 3 locations in west LA county. LAPD and Trick Racing are in Chatsworth. Allstar Automotive is in Woodland Hills.

There are tons more. That's just what I can think of off the top of my head from my area! It all depends on what you want.

 

Whats this patch harness you're looking for?

 

it plugs between the ecu and the safc.. you splice this instead of your stock harness

I've never seen an emanage in stock in a shop before, but I imagine any shop that carries Greddy can get it. RRM sway bar is usually in stock, PM me for some other phone numbers for HKS products, and I don't have a clue what a patch harness is. That's quite an interesting list. You know exactly what you want to do with that car!
