Here it is guys, the details for the EOC's second event!

When: Wednesday June 30th (meeting/class-Tues. June 29th)
Where: Streets of Willow (clockwise this time)
Price: $200
Available spots: 40 max!

The drivers' meeting and classroom activities will be held on Tuesday night at the Inn of Lancaster. This time there will be significant classroom activities. We will split the group up according to track experience so that articipants will get more tailored instruction in the classroom session.

We WILL have the 15-passenger van this time, for the first timers, and anyone else who wants a ride around the track. All instructors will be available on a more regular basis, and will be available for anyone who needs or wants to take advantage of them. First timers will be required to have an instructor with them for the first half of the day, but will be allowed to run solo after lunch.

With only 40 spots available, there will be just as much open track as our last event. For those that did not attend our last event, you will get more open track and more clean laps than three regular track days combined! That, coupled with the fact that it's EVOs ONLY, makes for the best track experience that an EVO owner can find anywhere right now!

The EOC difference: Besides the fact that our events are EVO exclusive and the spots are severely limited for tons of track time, we provide the best value for your track day dollar! Included in the price of the event is: the track day itself, tech inspection, instruction on and off track, timing, lunch in an air conditioned building, and discounted hotel rates. EVERY EOC event includes a three lap time trial event followed by an additional lapping session. Prizes are given out for the various class top times!

A couple of updates guys! I just cleaned up my computer, and will try my best to get the EOC site updated with the new information ASAP, so stay tuned for that. We have some great news to announce though!! We just talked with Enkei and they will be present at the June 30th event! Enkei is going to come out and show their new line of performance wheels, and they will be running demos on them. This means that they will have wheels/tires available for some of the members to mount for a session and test them out so to speak. We have also secured a 10% discount from Enkei specifically for EOC participants, and they will be there to provide info on that special EOC discount!

We have a couple of other things lined up, and as soon as we are able to confirm them we will pass along the information. Right now, we need to get more people signed up...get on the list guys!! If you thought the last EOC event was great, just wait...this one will be even better!!

Too bad it's on Wednesday and I have department meetings at work on Wednesdays. I would love to come up and shoot a bunch of pics of nothing but Evos flying around the track. Maybe I'll leave work after the meeting and visit you guys.

If your job is anything like mine, forget the vacation. Use the sick hours, you can use them on short notice and they go away at the end of the year (at least at my work they do)

Hey guys! This is the current list. It's actually filling a little faster than the last event. We have just over a month to get ready for it, so we've got some more goodies to plan. Obviously the Enkei deal is pretty sweet, and we have plenty more of these types of deals in the works right now and we'll update everyone soon. Just a note, the Enkei discount will only be available for the people who show up to the event. Ok! Hey it's 6:30am...I stayed up all night, got the site updated, and added some things (put a bunch of pictures in the "about the evo" page). So the new info is up, all of the forms have been edited with the new dates and info, and the registration page is up. There's only one problem...the paypal button does not work yet. The paypal site was down earyl this morning, so i couldn't grab the link or change the deal from that end. So, I'll get that done as soon as I get some sleep.

Everyone can still book their hotel rooms for the drivers' meeting now though. We set aside all the rooms, and hopefully we can get everyone booked in early so that we don't have to split the group up at the last minute like last time.

Everyone that plans on attending this event please send me a pm, even though your name is on the list. Also, if you are attending the event please pm me with your level of track experience, if none just tell me it will be your first time. We are trying to set the run groups up so that we can let everyone know which group they are in at the drivers' meeting the night before. We don't want any confusion at all at the track. We will also try to have ALL of the instructors at the drivers meeting so that everyone can see who they are and will be able to recognize them at the track!

Remember that Enkei will be there offering test runs on a few of their wheels as well as discounts for people that attend the event, so bring your questions for them! Sparco will likely be doing the same, but we still need to solidify that with Scott.

We are having a little snag with timing at the moment. It seems that the POC's transponders took a dump (the box that charges the units is wasted), so we need to figure an alternative out. No cause for alarm, we WILL have timing there, but we need to work out the details.

This event is already shaping up to be A LOT better than the last one was, and we thought the last one was pretty damn good. Who is getting excited? We only have just over three weeks left and we need to fill 33 spots, so get to PMing me!

Just a quick update! I was on the phone with Pete from Works today, and confirmed that they will be in attendance running their car! We are currently working on some goodies with them, so stay tuned for those details. The list of prizes for the time trial event is growing, so you don't want to miss out! One more bump. It's getting close...1 week to go. We are half full right now, so it looks like there will be some REALLY insane track time available. Hell, there is with only 40 people out there anyway. We typically have a bunch of people sign up at the last minute, and fill the event, so make sure to get your spot.

 

I'll be out on Catalina Island that day....solly. I'll make one of these EOC Events yet!
