San Diego 100 Octane or better

Guys, I am moving to San Diego on the 3rd and my car is still tuned for 93... I need to find a station that sells 100 or better at the pump. I used to be able to get VP 104 unleaded in Huntington Beach, but I need a new spot in SD.

Any suggestions?

Also, will my car take a beating running 91 until I get reflashed? Thanks in advance.

Chris

I would think it would be a lot more likely to knock.

There's a place on El Cajon Blvd. called Ford Fuels.

They sell every imaginable octane, 93, 100, and a lot of others.

On Mission Rd in western Escondido there's a place that sell racing fuel. I can't remember the name of it. It is a petroleum company. I think that the last eastern gas station in Ramona sell racing fuel too. There's Trick Racing Gas 800 444 - 1449

Just off of Mollison in EL Cajon... take the 8E for about 15-20miles and you'll see the exit. It's just after the hwy 67 on ramp. The station is on the right as soon as you exit. Can't miss it. I believe it is 114 octane.

Chris,

I'd think that the ecu would just retard timing more while being forced to run on 91. And while you would notice that your car isn't running as strong as it did previously, it shouldn't blow up on you.

Have you taken a look at the 76 website? It lists all gas stations that pump 100 octane.
