e wheels with the tires removed. They did really good work. The only problem was I had to wait a while because they were so busy... once they actually started the process they were done in one day

This will be hard for me though, since I don't have a spare set of wheels. 
Ditto on the problem with it here, if someone who does pc-ing would buy like a tire machine and lift and stuff they could take em off the car, do em over night, and have them back for the next day.

I had the same problem... my car sat on jack stands in the garage for a month because they were so busy with commercial jobs. Luckily I had my old car to drive around

Haha funny you say that because that is my good friends car he just sold a few months back. He built it up to where it is other than the wheels the kid did. I think his Name is Shawn and Its a fun fast car. I miss it 
But I think the kid that has it now was pretty cool Seen him out at the track once now and he plans on going more too

I think what may be far for you both to do is Just split the cost since you both would have just powder coated your wheels to look different anyhow if there wasn't another person

I haven't heard of them having to be baked at over 450 degrees My friend said it just needs to get up to 400-450 depending on what it is for about 10 mins is all. 600 sounds like way to much I think that 600 ish could weaken the wheel but I am not sure.
