Original Aperture vs Aperture II

Original Aperture vs Aperture II

Can someone disect these choices for me? The Aperture II is part of the Racing program, so I'm assuming it will give a bit more power, but possibily some loss of driveability.

Thanks.

I asked Jamie the same question yesterday and he said v2 is intended for highly modified cars - ones that have aftermkt intake manifolds. My engine is stock except for P2 and 3" exhaust and I will be adding the v1 throttle body when I'm up in SF in early Nov.

Yes, the original Aperture is recommended for those still using the OEM intake manifold. The opening on it perfectly matches the opening on the manifold inlet.

The Aperture II would work best for those running an aftermarket intake manifold. The opening on this unit is larger than the opening on the OEM manifold inlet. We are working with an OEM manifold to try and enlarge the inlet, but the material isn't as thick as we'd like it to be in some spots Once we determine if this is something WORKS can do without any issues, we'll be looking into doing a core/exchange program like we do with the throttlebody itself. Stay tuned!
