works catback exhaust

i'm getting my MR ready for A stock (autox), and one of the things i "need" is a catback exhaust... i hear good things about works in general... is the works catback the best performance option? and how loud is it? is it "streetable" loud? will it trip the sound meter at laguna seca? thanks...

We think the WORKS Exhale components are the best on the market The Resonated IP and the AB are the best performance option and is very streetable. Low RPMs have a rumble to them, cruising speeds are moderate without the any sort of drone on the freeway and high RPMs will make sure you're awake. We don't have any first-hand experience with the sound meter at Laguna and can't say for sure either way. WORKS does offer the ARC to help reduce sound levels at a slight expense to performance.

In addition, IMO the non-resonated/resonated IP with the StealthWorks Muffler is also an excellent option. It not only maintains the stock look, but stock sound as well. It sounds just like stock during idle and only a bit louder but nice during WOT. I believe the StealthWorks Muffler performs just as well as the AB with ARC.

We are currently running our full Turbo-back on our MR and receiving compliments daily.
The WORKS Cat-back is very streamline and clean. About as close as you can get to a real racing exhaust system for the street.
With my experience at Laguna, I don't think you'll trip the sound meter but I'm no Michael Schumacher by any stretch of the imagination.
