I'm a 269 w/springs & retainers owner so obviously I'm intersted in what Works has to say.

What is Works' comments concerning the retainer thread in the Evo Engine section right now? It's the thread where Revolver cams says & proves (w/pictures AND video) that the HKS cams higher lift cause contact between the retainer and seals.

The new retainers that came with my cams looked similar to the OEM retainers, are they the same dimensions?

I know this is a hopeless question, but what are the specs on the 269 cams? Specifically, what is the lift?

 

After reading the thread, we will try to verify this for ourselves.
We have 2 1/2 motors sitting on stands in preparation for our stroker kits and one of them will have the valvetrain scrutinized next week.
