Help With Ralliart Clutch Install

I've been trying to install this line and everything is cool except for the banjo bolt at the rear of the engine bay. I can't find a way to get to it get it off and put the new line on. Anyone have help for this?

Are you talking about the Works TKS clutch line?

It's a tedious process. We've found a flexible head Gearwrench (or something similar) tends to work best. It can be done with standard wrenches, but this one just aids the process. No matter what tool, it's still one of our least favorite installs

Small hands help for sure

I use a standard 17mm wrench...

when you are installing ours, make sure to start with the banjo bolt then work your way down...

GOOD LUCK!

Cheers

I went the opposite way and went from the restrictor up. Either way I can't find a way to get to that damn banjo bolt.

You should really start from the banjo bolt, you can use the free end of the line to help you, holding it in place...

It's a nogo. I just gave up and called the shop to take my car in. I just got too frustrated with it. I don't see how you guys could get a wrench in there.

Hey Tyler and Jamie, I just wanted to say thank you for you help. I went at it again and I finally got it installed. It was tricky getting the banjo bolt back on without losing the bolt or the washers. I actually used a little trick. I grabbed a small rubber band that my daughter uses for her hair and wrapped it around the bolt and washer. This allowed me to manuever the bolt in place with one hand without fear of losing anything.

Either way everything is good to go now. Love the new clutchline.
