Thanks for the w/r Flash tune!!!

Thanks to all Works staff for helping me achieve my current goals for my 03 EVO.
I am lucky to live so close to a very professional shop with some of the best fitting parts in the the aftermarket community. In some cases they actually fit better than the stock ones did. The custom flash built for my w/r Turbo with Alky/water drives so smooth and makes power everywhere. Driveability is flawless. There is a new found crispness the car never had before. The power numbers are very good considering the tune is not on the edge and have never seen knock activity strong enough to pull timing. HP=345 TQ=330. (25psi.).This was done on a Mustang dyno
many pulls in a row with consistency. These Dynos generally read about 12% lower than a Dynojet. If you do the math thats about 380+ on 91 with W/A. I do have a new goal and time will tell if it can be met. I am confident it will with help from the Works staff. If your curious 400+on same fuel.

Thanks,

Todd

I've hit 380whp 360wtq on 91 Octane and Alcohol Injection with the stock 03 turbo with the stock 9.8 housing boosting 26psi with a tune of 12:1 AFR

The 264/272 Cams on my car helps out to flatten my torque curve 360wtq - 350wtq from 3700-5200rpm with no sudden drop of torque.

That is on a Denatured Alchol setup.

I'm using Methanol right now and boosting 29psi and with the help of my HKS DLI2 Ignition amlifier it has no signs of any knock or misfires. I haven't dynoed the car yet with the current settings 400whp is an attainable number on the stock turbo. With the help of Methanol, and boosting 3psi more I felt more power and torque.

Very nice results! Did you use the Works water injection system on your Evo?

Very nice #'s. Im wondering how much power it would make on water only no alky. I plan on getting the WORKS WI when its done and a turbo upgrade soon after, so just curious.

A boost spike of 26 is worth almost nothing in the real world. The stock turbo can't hold it it there. Sounds like your car runs well. I found an average of 30 hp to the wheels improvement with the W/R. Sounds like if you get one you'll make even bigger power. The works is currently testing there system and can inform you of there results. I am using a pieced together system of my own spec.
