You forgot to mention the fact that you don't necessarily need cam gears with the WORKS 269 cams. You need to read your product brochures more often.

It's all a big blur to me now

I should also touch on the fact that these were engineered using a US-Spec EVO VIII and not something imported that was made for a VII or a "world-market" VIII.

Well I just got the cams along with a few other goodies today (well picked up the car today) and they recommend you add the valvesprings and retainers (Not necessary but recommended). They offer a package deal if you buy both. Let me just say this, even just flooring it in 5th I can feel the difference. I cant get on it yet since im breaking in the clutch and tranny, but just at normal speeds I can feel it. I cant wait until everything is broken in

Works cams are pretty much the best mod I've done other than the P2 reflash.
