I guess thats their stage 3. They haven't announced whats in it yet, but it still uses the stock m62 supercharger. Some heads are going to turn if the FWD cobalt really did beat all the big boys. Wierd.

Because Time Attack challenges involve multiple runs, the engine must be powerful and durable. The Time Attack Cobalt SS Supercharged coupe’s Stage 2+ Ecotec engine is certainly up to that challenge. Developed by GM Performance Division and GM Powertrain, it features an Eaton M-62 Gen 5 Hybrid supercharger and delivers 264 horsepower at 7000 rpm and 230 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm. When nitrous boost is added, performance jumps to 344 horsepower at 6800 rpm and 350 lb.-ft. of torque at 3600 rpm.

Apex'i is one of the sponsors of the CyberEvo and they happen to be using an Apex'i intercooler.

I don't know if anyone here even knows the specs We spent the last two weeks trying to build it in time. Once we catch up on some sleep, we'll provide a list of what was used. Stay tuned!

Yep, factory ECU - the same thing the CyberEvo in Japan uses.

Also note that this was 100% road tuning... no dyno “tuning” as we wanted the tune to be accurate and as safe as possible

The CyberEvo does. The WORKS Evo uses the WORKS Brain Flash ECU

The ECU was strictly factory w/ a custom tuned WORKS P2 flash.
After SuperStreet makes it's official announcement this week, we will provide everyone w the full specs & details.
