Question Ohlins Sport Suspension

Is the Ohlins Sport Suspension(stock strut replacement) that is listed on your website ready to ship, or is there a wait after you order it? Thanks.

Hello Boder,

We have just sold out of the Ohlins Sport Suspension that we received on the first shipment. We have another shipment about 2 to 3 weeks out that have 2 sets included. One set is already sold, so please give us a call and place a deposit if you want to receive the second set. Please let us know.

Sincerely,

Oliver Simons

what is the potential of this suspension compared to your stage III ohlins? i'm asking because i'd like to upgrade stock struts for A-stock autox but would like to move to BSP in a year or so. So would it be worth it to get these shocks now or am i better off waiting and getting the state III ohlins? Thanks
Matt

Ultimately, the coilovers are going to give you more flexibility (mainly with spring selection). The WORKS/Ohlins Sport Suspension is ideal for those who aren't going to be doing drastic changes to there setup. The manily daily driven EVO with the occassional autocross/track event (such as myself). Set it up for comfort during the commute and go a little more aggressive with the dampening for the weekends/events. Feel free to give us a call and we can discuss your needs and help lead you in the right direction.

Sold out? I've been checking the web site for 2 months, but it always says "(coming soon)".

We haven't been able to keep them in stock They basically head out the door the same day they come in. If you want a set, just give us a call with a deposit and we'll tag one of the upcoming sets for you.

Jamie,

Do you know if these lower the Evo at all? The description says they are 'direct factory replacement' which I would interpret as keeping the stock ride height.

Concerning your "Works / Ohlins Sport Suspension" question. If you utilize the factory springs than you can maintain the factory ride height. If you choose to use the "Works Ride Springs" -for example- your car may be "Properly" lowered just shy of an inch (.900) front and rear.

TP - By "factory" springs, are you referring to the springs that come with this Ohlins setup?

Do you have the Ohlins Sport Suspension or do you work for Works?

The WORKS/Ohlins Sport Suspension does include our Ride springs, which do lower the car about an inch. You could choose to re-use your existing springs and it shouldn't alter the ride height at all.

Thanks for the link.

Jaime, so if we already have the ride springs can we use those and knock the springs out of the price for the shocks?
