Changing octanes with a flash...

Hi all, I chose to post this on the boards instead of calling Works in case anyone else has a similar predicament.

Here's my question:

If I get the P1 flash for 91 octane and then move to the east coast (which I plan to next year), do I have to get reflashed for 93? And would that be another $499? My searches only yielded temporary situations, such as using race gas for track days. I am talking about a permanent octane switch for a daily driver. If anyone has experience with this, let me know.

Thanks!

You don't have to change anything and it will be better for your car.
but You are not going to get most out of 93 gas.

Greetings,

As to what "taenaive" stated, he is correct. However, if you want to gain that little bit of power, we can definately reflash it for you. There is a nominal charge of $49, although you could add a hi-flow cat from us and get a free flash based on the upgrade. Just wanted to provide some options. Give us a call if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Oliver Simons
