WORKS TR-340 and GT3071 combo

Works,

Have you guys done anything like this before.

I like the idea of the TR-340 and White Rabbit combo and I know you guys have done several of these and have the tune down as far as optimum performance, reliability, and driveability.

However, have you guys done any TR-340s with a GT3071 turbo for a little more uuummmph, and if so how reliable and driveable is this vs. the White Rabbit setup?

Thank you.

They were developing a turbo kit with the GT3071 back in 04 but discontined development becasue they couldn't obtain a trouble free plug-n-play kit.

How about any of the 30 series (i.e. 3076, 3037)?

We've used just that combination on our original shop car. We've also worked with other Garrett combos. The WORKS Engineering Team is sourcing some new turbo packages that we hope to have available in the not too distant future.

What do you mean by "not to distant future". Do you have a guesstimate on when a complete package with a bigger turbo might be available.

Well, the turbo kit will be bolted up to a couple of cars for some R&D. We need to spend some time at the shop scrutinizing fitment, etc... and then some time on the track and road making sure all is well. Provided there are no hiccups, it could be later this year. If something comes up, it may delay the release depending on what is required to rectify the situation.

Oh OK. Well heck I was just hoping something might be available by the spring/summer of next year. I am sure everything should be ironed out by then.
