OHLINS Factory Authorized Sales & Service

OHLINS is the world leader in motorcycle and automotive damper technology.

Early this year, two WORKS Engineers flew to OHLINS USA for an intensive week of Factory training and support.

We are officially authorized to sell and service OHLINS shock absorbers for the EVO community and beyond.

WORKS keeps an inventory of OHLINS Genuine parts and utilizes OHLINS Genuine tools to properly service and maintain every application.

From your initial purchase, to suspension tuning, to maintenance for years to come, WORKS has you covered.

What are the spring rates on the STG II & III Ohlins kit?

Do you have any shock dyno sheets of the shocks?

Do you use "helper" or "tender" springs?

If not can you send me one shock to have it dyoned @ my cost?

We have our proprietary setup, but can be custom ordered with springs of your choice.

Yes.

Yes.

No need. We do all of our shock-dyno testing and Ohlins revalving in-house

Both are not available for full disclosure. If you would like to give us a call, we can probably work something out.

Sorry we can't post our data. Many WORKS products have been knocked-off by competitors after we spent all the R&D time and money and Engineers are not cheap.

But the spring rates for the WORKS/Ohlins Stage IIIs and IVs are custom tailored to your application and driving style. We have initial recommendations but when you purchase them from us we get your input to set them up specifically for your needs. We even pre-install them so you receive a complete package ready to go. That way you can get to the track or twisties sooner.

Trust me I understand that.

I want more control over the stock setup & get a better ride by reducing the harsh rebound of the stock setup. Gain some mid corner traction. My main track has the worst pavement, so the spring rates need to be lower then say Laguna. This is also a "street" car so it needs to be quiet & complaint on the even worse pavement.

I'm very happy with the weight transfer & composer of the stock setup, just hate the rebound, and how it can get a little light over bumps in corners. I prefer to tune with springs & dampening over sway bars.

Do you change both rebound & compression valving? Do you set up the adjuster to match the whole spring/shock package?

Yes, rebound is very tricky on the EVO. Much of what you are feeling is actually coming from the rear although most of it usually feels like it's coming from the front.

The goal is to keep the tire on the ground and that's what we dial-in the Ohlins to do. Rebound is what we have spent the most time analyzing and we have it down to a science with our in-house shock dyno and WORKS Race Car.

Feel free to contact us at the shop: http://www.worksevo.com/contact.php

Oh, and the WORKS/Ohlins DFV setups are in stock and shipping. In addition to the Dual Flow Valve internals (for improved ride quality), they feature fully-threaded bodies for independent height adjustment.

Can you service any ohlins suspension...like coilovers for a 1992-1995 civic hatch? And if so what's the going rate?
