The WORKS / K&N / Goodsport Racing Team came through the grueling 25hr race to finish 2nd in class and 11th overall. Being considered the underdog for this event would be a gross understatement, given the winning factory effort from Honda R&D and their 25 member crew. A great team effort and tireless preparation made the difference as only 2 drivers Dave Bongiovanni and Ralph Alexander and 1 crew set out on a pace to complete the race on one set of WORKS soon-to-be released WRP Brake Pads and 2 sets of Toyo tires. The EVO was running the new “endurance” P2 Flash which helped the drivers maintain momentum without having to push the car through the corners, thus saving brakes and tires.
