Hey, I plan on upgrading the entire exhaust system up to and including the O2 housing(with the stock turbo), my question is when it comes time to prob my exhaust for emissions will this be an issue passing or failing smog? I will be running the HFC as well?

 

The WORKS TR-340 has passed emissions testing on multiple occassions. Our own test came out cleaner than a stock EVO and we've had many third-party confirmations that smog is not a problem (i.e. when a used EVO is bought/sold). Keep in mind that although they pass the sniffer, they do not have CARB certification at this point.

 

Thanks for the info Jamie. So does that mean the system will be CARB certified at some point?

 

Ideally, we'd love to, but there aren't official plans that I'm aware of. That could all change yesterday though

 

With all the mods in my sig I passed smog with my car when I sold it with a cat in place. They were very impressed at how clean it was as mentioned. You wont have a problem.
