Out the door with $1481.00 bucks, but that also included the new Croxx plate. Brain, throttle body, exhale, croxx plate and labor all included in price. It's a good deal. It's a totally different car with increased smoother power, torque and a new throaty sound that's pleasing to hear. Roll on power is improved dramaticaly in 5th gear . I highly recommend it if you want stealthy mods.

dyno with a/f ratios

Hey folks, I did 3 dyno runs yesterday at ATP in Fremont (sorry wilson1 forgot to PM you). I drove about 1.5 hrs to get there in 100 degree temps. I'll post the results as soon as I make a file and figure out how to post it. It was 98.9 degrees, 29.7 Hg, CF=1.02. My best run was 246.8 hp, 238.9 torque with a/f ratios between 11-12. very smooth curve can't wait to post them. WORKS is the way to go!!!

Yes, I have the 91 octane re-flash, aperture & exhale. I was pleasantly surprised to see those numbers as was the tech for such a hot afternnoon. Hopefully have it posted by lunch time today.

dyno with a/f ratios

Here is another with an overlay of a stock dyno done in June. Notice at 6800 rpm there is a 50hp difference along with almost 40 lbs of torque change. The changes are there and very noticeable on the butt dyno. This combo of the re-flash, aperture and exhale is the way to go!!!!!

Looks like anything below 3500 the stock evo just works better. Drive with rpms over 3500 its obvious that the works package really makes a nice difference. I know there are a lot of variations between each day with the weather variables, but even with that in mind there is still a very noticiable difference with the ECU flash and works products. Can't wait to see what their new boost upgrade will do.

The stock dyno run probably looks better down low because the stock exaust variable flow flap is allowing for better low-end boost spool-up. Adding the exhale, or any axle or cat-back pipe for that matter, has been proven to reduce low-end boost by about 1 psi requiring some form of adjustment to bring it back up to the original spec.

Personally I bet if you added a boost controller, or when the Works Brain re-flash is made available you will see the dyno charts reflecting power gains down low as well as the mid to high rpm ranges where we already see the improvements today.

This will be a happy day indeed

A couple observations worth noting in Jess' dyno plots are how consistent the repeatability on the plots are with the WORKS Brain flash and the fact that the WORKS plots are actually smoother than stock.

Extra power is relatively easy to get out of a forced induction engine, but keeping it repeatable/reliable and actually making it smoother than stock is no small achievement.

Nice numbers, Jess. Thanks for posting these.

Yep the graphs look great. Very consistent and a lot smoother than stock.

ok, i SEE 245whp on the mods, but that is on 91 octane, right?

EVO's make 200WHP on 91 pump right? SO you are netting 46WHP with these mods, is that right?

check out the horspower & torque difference at 6800 rpm, 50 hp and 40 lbs. of torque on 91 octane. The mods are Brain, aperture, exhale.
