As far as I know the stock air box can be kept in place with the Buschur light weight battery kit. I had it in my MR and I could have kept the stock airbox with plenty of room.

I am not trying to make a plug for Buschur on here, but I know it will fit.

Unless Buschur changed the design of their original small battery kit it will not work with the stock air box. Do a search, theres an old thread where someone tried adding one to their Evo VIII and it was no go. BR even admitted in the thread that the kit (then) would not work with the stock air box.

We've been racing with the Nisei mini battery kit and have had zero problems with the set-up. Looks great (not like some that look like they came from Orchard Supply) and has plenty of room for the stock air box.

As far as the other items are concerned there is also an old thread (I think in this forum) where WORKS explained why they didn't continue with the original turbo kit. Kind of pointless now with the WR and other upgrades that WORKS offers for sale or can tune for.

WI, its been awhile, we'd like to add it as well, hopefully it won't be too much longer.

As for the Smurfs, they did make it to market, thats the drop-in air filter.

Yeah. I think many of us have learned that if Works has it in stock, it great, but if not, there's no sense in waiting. dont know that we'll ever see a Works battery relocation kit but they did do a nice job of intalling my battery relocation kit from a different vendor.

No, they relocated the stock battery to the trunk - at least on their race car. Honestly, I find it hard to believe they'll spend time on a relocation kit - its like the WI kit - not much profit. Not enough margin on the relocation kit and not a high enough volume of sales for the WI kit.
