I was a little bummed I didn't see you guys at Sebring. The Speed Touring Championship is a little dry.

I took a look at the car this past weekend while racing at Sears Point.

No suspension, no engine, no trans. Subframe and motormounts are all cut out.

Basically it's still a shell with a cage.

I hope they are closer than it looks, as everyone is looking forward to seeing it run.

We've been going through some changes with the chassis. We've missed the first event because of this (and won't be at VIR this weekend), but hope to be back on track (literally) very soon.

So whats the update on the first race??? Think you will make the Tooele, Utah race or the Lakeville, CT race. My plans is to go to the Watkins Glen, NY race and hope to see you there if possible.
Any updates would be nice and hope you guys run well also. Lastly, knowing this is the first season are you guys looking to race the car for years to come in the series and expand??? Just wondering since im a fan of the events.

Thank you for your interest and continued support.
Things are progressing nicely and the amount of engineering for every little detail is staggering.
However there is a rather large, significant change that is being considered at the moment which may change the car dramatically.
We'll keep you updated as things develop.

I was at works at the end of the month and I saw the Lancer completely stripped inside and out. I asked Pete what was the hold up and he said that Mitsu is looking at completely changing the set-up of the car. So, they have the car on a lift waiting for instruction from Mitsu. They are ready....just waiting.

What is going to be so different now??? Are they going to move on to ralliart trim maybe or just go for 2.0 lancer to 2.4. I thought for a second Mitsubishi might had backed out.
