WORKS .9" Ride Springs and Alignment
WORKS .9" Ride Springs and Alignment
What alignment specs does WORKS recommend for an Evo X MR with your .9" rides springs? Just use the stock specs? Or is there something WORKS recommends that is better?
I've been having trouble with uneven tire wear since I've had the springs installed. Also, I've had two different sets of tires other than stock and they start to "whirl" and "hum" after only a few miles (just installed Nitto NT-05's and are already whirling after 75 miles). Or, is this something you have to live with if you install ride springs?
I've had the car aligned by a few different shops, but it doesn't improve and hasn't helped. I also have the WORKS hollow front and solid rear sway bars installed.
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks

The thing that kills soft, grippy, tires in no time at all is excessive toe. Set your toe at zero all around (in other words, straight ahead). I don't think the springs have anything to do with tire noise.
