I have the full WORKS Exhale, I've had it since Jan 5th. If you call up WORKS, and talk to them about ordering the exhaust they will tell you how long it will take, etc.

The estimated availability dates on the website are usually out of date.

In case anyone is wondering, I have talked to Pete many time regarding my order....ETA, etc. I have talked to David when he was still here. He initially mentioned 3 weeks. Then I called him up after 3 weeks and he said they or the manufacturer were having problems with the ceramic coating machine. So it will take another week or 2. So I contacted them after a 2 or 3 or weeks, and by that time, David was gone and I spoke with Pete. Pete was not able to provide me an ETA. He told me that he will shoot me an email when it is ready. So to date, it's been....let see...I ordered on 12-12-2003 and it is now 02-18-2004. I believe you are the only person that actually have it. Based on your date, I might have ordered it before you. But since I am not in the SF area, you might have gotten it first. Anyway, just to let you know so you know think that I haven't called, I have spoke with WORKS regarding this order for at least 4 times.

One complaint I have about the works system is they dont offer a high flow cat. Having spoken with Pete about this, I understand why they dont, but is ther an aftermarket high flow cat which will work with the works dp and ip? Should be worth 10 hp.

I don't see you getting 10hp out of a HF cat. If you really want, other vendors are selling them for about $150.

Any factory replacement (bolt on) high flow cat should bolt right up to the WORKS cat-back system.

In terms of the 10hp out of the high flow cat, that was the estimate given to me by one of the guys at Works when I called the other day.

Am I misquoting?

Since the Works axel back system is really a muffler delete pipe, it relys on the cat to keep the db's down. Will a high flow cat make the system too loud??

The noise is held down due to the two resonators on the stock IP pipe (between cat and muffler). I believe the WORKS IP will have resonators. A HF cat will increase noise levels, but it won't just be an empty run of piping.

The works 70mm IP doesnt have resonators. the 76mm pipe can be had with or w/o resonators.

I may have to get their exhaust and see how loud it gets with a high flow cat!

Anyone who has experience with this exhaust I would like to know how loud it is. 2.75 or 3" resonated or non-resonated. I'm going to purchase the 303 package as soon as the exhaust pieces become available. I'm 46 years old and really dont want to **** off the neighbor's.

The 2.75in WORKS exhaust system is not that loud as long as you keep a cat on there. The noise level does go up dramatically with out a cat.

The 3in version, available with a resonator, will be quieter that the 2.75 non-resonated. Non-resonated will be louder, and the loudest will be the 3 in non-resonated.

In our opinion, the non-resonated 2.75 in in not to loud for most people, but if you want quieter we would recommend the 3in resonated.
