Is Works Closing Shop

Since David announced his retirement Works seems nonexistent. Can't reach them on the phone and the site is dead. Nobody is responding to any questions. I was interested in the total Works set-up when the cams came out but Since David is gone I am thinking of going somewhere else in the Bay Area.

I called Works today and ended up talking to both Pete and John.

So the answer is NO, they are not closing up at all. In fact, they apparently have some new things coming out in the very near future.

I admit - I had to call them more than once, but I did get a real live human being on the other end of the phone.

Yea, Pete and John are shy so they tend to stay away from phones. But these guys are cool when you get hold of them.

Well, I hope that they do continue on their business because I certainly am interested in only a company that will be around in the long run. I started the WORKS path and hope it will be around to support my EVO in the future too.

David leaving is by no means the end of Works. It just means that someone else there will have to be their spokesmodel.

I spoke with Pete the other day just leave a message he will call back. The difference is they are the Engineers actually working on new products also perfecting the new turbo. I have been with them since the begining and my Evo has been perfect. Plan on keeping it that way in fact I am putting in the Water Injection along with the P2 in a few weeks I have the P1 now with exhuast and intake and it screams.

Yes.. I've always wanted to be a dental assistant. If only I could find a place that would hire me.

Dunno about shy or being timid for the phone, but most of the time we are just elbows-deep into projects and a touch too slow for that 100M dash to the ringing phone.

Time to get on the treadmill. That 100M dash is pretty demanding.
Oh better yet, cordless phones. You don't need to run after the phone anymore.
What you and Pete working on? Is the intake ready?
