Thumbs up Installed the Boost line

well i finally installed the boost line tonight...man that was a *****. I did it from the bottom. Anyways, the other day i just installed the P2 reflashed ecu, but didnt have time to install the boost line. I took the car for a ride after installing the ecu and the car was only boostin 15psi as i posted in another post. So tonight after installing the boost line....i took her for a ride...OMG the car is sick....this thing pulls sooooo hard i cant watch the boost gauge and the tach at the same time without screwin up the shift. I ripped a pull in 2nd, the boosting floated around up to 22 fall to 15 for a blink of the eye, than settled around 19-20. Than I did a pull in 3rd and the car spiked to 24 and i was like WWWWWWWWWOOOOO....so i backed off. Is this normal? FYI...it is made cold tonight

I believe the decision is that this is normal. Especially for this weather. Here's one other thread about this:

I'm pretty sure there was another one somewhere.

You're right about the tach climbing so fast. I think when I have my next flash for cams I'll have Works put a rev limiter back on for safety sakes. It has such a bad *** upper end now you'll never know that it's approaching or past redline. Of course that's a good thing.

The cold weather will cause some spikes. I've seen mine around 24.5 a few times.
