Is anybody running an intake w/p2
I am thinking about putting an hks megafilter on the evo. I have the p2 and turbo back exhaust. Anyone doing this already. I did a dyno pull with the p1 and removing the stock filter and box top. The af leaned a bit between 5k - 7k rpm's from about a 11.7/1 afr to 12.0/1 afr. This may be because the cpu didn't have time to adjust to the change in air flow. I don't know how rich the p2 is, but I heard it was richer than the original p1. Just wondering if it is safe to add an aftermarket filter. It's just the filter, not the turbo inlet pipe, so I'm hoping it won't mess up the maf reading. Post your P2 a/f ratio's
I'm at work now, but when I get home Ill post my dyno chart. I have the p2, downpipe and catback, and the Buschur air filter. I would run the stock air box, but I just love the sound of the intake.
Basically that is what I am going for also. I'm not expecting more hp (even though my peak went up 3whp without the filter), but I heard an EVO with the hks rs intake last week and it was so nice I had to get one.
