You asking about works install prices or just like an average tuner shop??

I don't now what Works charges, but I do believe they rent their dyno time as they do not own one.

Here's my thoughts:
If I were to do something major to my car, I'd pick the tuner shop by reputation and go with one I felt comfortable with. I would NOT be trusting my baby to the lowest bidder. Just my thoughts.

In saying that, I think you could switch out your ECU, and switch out exhaust pretty easily yourself. The throttle-body would be a bit more tricky, but I seen a friend to it in under an hour with minimal tools.

Good Luck

I'm not picking a shop on lowest cost.... I'm picking WORKS because of their huge reputation here in NORCAL and I was just wondering how much cash I'm going to have to say to get the package that I want with install, dyno time, and tax...I don't want to go down there and come up short with money, so if anyone has bought this and had WORKS install it, please let me know what it cost you...

Just curious...Does WORKS dyno tune? I thought they just did the install of parts?!?

Also I dont know if it helps but most shops charge $60-75 hr to install, I wouldnt expect it to take longer than 1.5-2 hrs to install that stuff.

The TR303 Package is $1599; out the door installed with tax is $1899

As far as dyno time this is something that WORKS does in advance. But not just on the dyno, our setups are also road tuned... just like a car manufacturer. We tune all gears, all throttle positions, all loads. Real tuning takes longer than a few dyno sessions

...so if someone has installed a stage on their own would it be worth it to come up and have some road (tuning) work done?

Hmmmm, I wonder if I should subtract the $200 I won from the clown in the Chevy SS truck that thought he was faster than the EVO in the mountains?

No need to come to us, when you send us the ECU we will flash it for your setup.

The flash is undetectable by dealers.
