Thanks from SW Florida to WORKS
I just wanted to post a thank you to the guys at works. About 2 weeks ago I ordered a Throttle Body to go with the rest of the WORKS upgrades I have installed. I live in Port Charlotte, Florida and as most of you know we were hit by a pretty devistating Hurricane last Friday. On Monday I called WORKS to cancel the order and they did so with no questions asked. Many vendors would have charged a restocking fee or given you a hard time for cancelling at such a short notice. So I just wanted everyone to know how greatfull I am, keep up the great work. Hopefully in a few months when we sort things out I will be able to place the order again.
A little update:
Managed to aquire a generator from a relative so we have power. Don't expect city power for 2-3 weeks. But the progress they are making is amazing. Still waiting for my insurance to come to the house, we estimate about 25-30k in damage. We are all very thankfull though because we are lucky to have a dry roof over our heads, many here do not. Amazingly the phone line has never stopped working, so the DSL is also working.
So far so good, all of the family made it through safely. The EVO has a small scratch on the hood from where the window blew out and knocked my mountain bike into the car, no enough to even claim on insurance, wife said I have to fix the house before the car, I just don't understand why?
Thanks again to the guys at WORKS for their support. I still plan on being at Slamfest next month in Tampa, I'll just keep the hood open.
