93 and 94 octane difference?!

I usually fill my tank with 93 octane and my car runs pretty strong. Well I just put a full tank of SUNOCO 94 octane in Friday and after about 40 miles with that in, my car just feels quite a bit stronger all through out the rpm band. Can 1 point difference really be this noticable.?

Mods:

WORKS P2
Buschur 3" turbo back

Yes it is. 94 sunoco is much better than 93. I used to use it all the times

What state do u live in? We have have 100 @ the pump here in CA for 5.39 gallon but 110 is just a dream @ 4.00 if i were you I would mix 95 and 110 and have about 98 in your EVO all the time.

I live in S. Carolina. I have mixed the 2 before and ran the 110 alone also. The 95 is plenty for daily gas and only cost 2 cents more a gallon than the 93. I must say I enjoy it and the gas station with the 95 is also the closest to my house and my favorite brand!!
