EM & Tyler,
At what point would using the 3" be an advantage over the 2.75"? If your ultimate goal is the 340 package should we stick with the 2.75?

If your road racing or drag racing go with the 3" but if your Autoxing stick with the 70mm pipe. Like everything else it really depends on what or how your going to use the car.

It clears the stock tie bars fine. Do the cusco bars come up any higher at anypoint?

If you are going to upgrade to the WORKS Cast O2 sensor housing, there is a definite advantage to the 3" system.

Another reason is the price. The 3" downpipes are less expensive to produce, so we pass the savings on to you.

6-7 weeks is what we are looking at right now. So after having the WORKS 3" downpipe for a bit, you'll be looking for more power right as the O2 housing comes out

Any pictures of the stock O2 housing. I have no idea where it is or how it looks. From what I'm reading I guess it's in line with the DP (in exhaust line like all O2 sensors). Is it not mounted in a bung like others?

I'll bring the camera with me tomorrow and get a picture of the stock unit from the newly acquired WORKS project.

In the meantime, the Exhale 76mm downpipes are in stock and on sale. These include a new enlarged exhaust donut that fits to your stock O2 housing with the included adapter. Down the road when if you decide to get our upcoming O2 housing, simply remove the adapter and drive.

We can't say it will fit any other downpipe due to the fact that WORKS uses a larger donut gasket than OEM with our Exhale 3" DP. If other pipes are able to accomodate this gasket, then they should be compatible.

For those of us that have 2.5" exhaust - are we out of luck on this mod??

Here's the stock unit. Just imagine the WORKS version being a little bigger

I don't see this working with a 2.5" downpipe. You would probably need something bigger to come off the O2 housing outlet. Again, nothing has been finalized. So, I don't want to say too much. In the meantime, you can pick up the WORKS 76mm DP and be assured all will fit like a glove
