When I still had the Evo-girls vinyl stickers on - I removed them after finding out that someone stole part of the sticker and left visible tamper marks on the remaining bits. Now Nox is back to being clean of decals and hopefully less of a target of unwanted attention.

There's a fair share of Evo people that hate how the X looks from the back - I would have agreed too, that is, until you slap a big Vortex Generator and mudflaps on. I've received so many compliments on how cool Nox looks from behind, from friends to other drivers on the road that pull up along side before even seeing the front of the car. Even got a yell from a guy walking on the sidewalk in the same direction of traffic, when I was stopped at a light, saying the car looked awesome. Of course, the front gets plenty of unargumented attention without any bling XD

Biggest reason why I chose Rexpeed's VG was because it had the largest fins - smaller fins simply just don't cut it on the huge X (imo anyway)

09/10/09 - First accident: After-work traffic stopped suddenly from 50mph on I-85. Indian lady in her sh*tty Prius couldn't stop in time and rear-ends my Evo, pushing me forward to hit a VW Jetta, who then hits a Toyota Sienna. Front 2 cars suffered minor paint damage and bumper dents, Evo's front bumper took light damage but rear and exhaust are as seen in the photo, Prius's front was totaled. Among the rubber-neckers, 2 Evo VIII/IXs passed (1 guy shook his head), and a brown '06 STi driver just stares at me the whole time as he drives by with his window down - YEA I KNOW I LOOK PISSED, GO AWAY... but don't go because I really like your car =_= At least the AAA tow guy that came for the Evo knew somewhat about cars and complimented it was "one of those exotic STi WRX types, I'll tow it to this very good bodyshop that fixes up Ferraris and Porches. Your Mitsubishi should be no problem." Filed a 45min insurance claim after dinner (had to report for 4 cars) and they're gonna see the Evo's damage on monday. Sigh, and I had nice mudflaps arriving today/tomorrow for the Evo too. Lesson of the day: Priuses may save you on gas, but it can't brake/stop with its cheap tires, and even when the driver is slammed into the steering wheel & the front is smashed in, good luck with airbags that don't work.
