This is the starter solenoid connector/wire Does anyone else's look like this? I don't see any wire cover under the heat sheath. The wire itself looks a little frayed and spread out maybe even broken? I've tried to find another for comparison but can never get a glimpse under the heat sheath.

This is a 20G 16" x 3" piece of SS. I made my own measurements because i wanted it longer. The placement measurements are specific to this plate, but if you want them just ask
