Resurrecting this thread and my wife's old account. She had 2004 Sportback Ralliart for about 9 years, then moved on to the Outlander family, has a 2018 PHEV now.. I still daily/track my 2006 Eclipse GT, but yesterday we went shopping for our daughters and landed this Lightning Yella' 5spd MT Ralliart. This will be for them to learn on and get their licenses, and a fun project car for me and my wife. It has 122,000 miles, fairly decent body/paint, and heavily smoked in interior. Timing belt/water pump was done at 90k, clutch was done around 80k and feels strong.
Of course today CEL came on, I pulled up codes P2138 and P0138 and car is currently in limp mode. I'm not sure how serious those are but still researching. I'm on good terms with my local dealer so I'll be taking it in to deal with the codes and flush all the fluids. Goal is to detail the hell of it and keep it fairly stock on OEM parts to get started. I've already purchased all new EBC rotors, Vrederstein Quatracs, and a WhiteLine rear sway bar. Will be getting those on as soon as they deliver. The temp knob and blower switch are broken but seems those parts still available thank god.
I'll post some 'after' pics in a couple weeks after we're up and running. Glad to be flying the Ralliart flag again!
