Awesome! You have definitely brought this daily driver to life. You know.....I'm wondering......are you considering achieving higher horsepower or are you pretty much satisfied with the car? Just wondering...

I'm done with "building it" for hp, but would like to tighten it up now, ie; install the LSD, replace steering bushings, and stiffen up the shifts in the transmission, if that's possible.

Hey Guys, Track Night in America is Still Going Strong!

Is anyone still wanting to take their daily driver to a full length road race course? Well, that opportunity is still available, and more than likely,TNiA is still at a race course near you! Peruse their site, http://www.tracknightinamerica.com/events, and find a track nearest your location, then register and take advantage of a $25 discount that I can provide by leaving me a private message in my inbox...Go!

New developments:

Symptoms:

1. noted the boost gauge was not reading...onlyonly three lines across he center, - - -

2. While driving, a low "exhaust leak - like" sound came on and a smell of fuel

3. Engine ran rough as though a cylinder problem?

Checked all lines / connections / connectors / exhaust...secure. No liquid leaks anywhere. Fluid levels good.

Error Codes:

P0304 cylinder 4 misfire
P0734 Gear 4 incorrect ratio

Boost...Mike said the same thing about the apples.

He thinks I'm running on three cylinders, which it feels like to me also. I've still to check the shaft play on the turbo, just to rule that out also.

Great minds think alike

I think your boost gauge, or sensor is probably pooched, it's supposed to read vacuum pressure as well right? regardless of whether you're building boost or not the engine will produce vacuum at idle and cruise... for the engine trouble, I would check compression and ignition, and go from there...

Going to check compression...can I disconnect the injectors here to prevent fuel from entering cylinders?

that looks like your knock sensor connector, unplugging tht will do nothing...the injectors would need to be unplugged individually...alternatively you could pull the fuel pump fuse/relays, I guess, but it doesn't matter.

That's my question actually: Where's the fuel pump relay/fuse?

Edit: Okay, I see the individual injector connectors now, duh...thx

fuel pump relays are on the fuse panel under the dash...see owner's manual for fuse location.

Okay, got the red sled up on the bed without incident, and to the shop this morning.
Just called Angel at Technica Motorworks and he says the compression is good, he tried new plugs but no change, and confirmed that the coils were new, which they are. This is far as he's gotten.
