i actually spoke with mitsubishi marketing department for another reason and they asked me what I thought of the sportback, I laughed and said why didnt you make it in 5-speed. They were like uhhh...... we didnt think anyone would want one? I laughed again and said oops looks like you missed the boat again.

I just don't think there are enough of your type for Mitsu to justify it either, especially when Sportback sales aren't likely to be overwhelming anyway. Everytime someone tries to trade in a 5sp Maxima or Altima we always cringe, it doesn't matter what the book says, they are cold, you'd be lucky to get rough book for one around here. Granted the sportback is in a whole 'nother class, it still doesn't mean it is absolutely needed. I get poeple asking for 5sp Galants everynow and again, but not enough to make me wish we had them. Let's see if we can sell the regular Sportbacks first.

i love wagons! especially if they have AWD and turbo! haha unfortunately this doesn't have either of the two...but oh well even though i still think wagons are growing up here in the states but with my heart and mind in asia and europe...meaning i've traveled to asia and europe quite a few times already and i've seen some really trick wagons! Saabs, VW, AUDI!, Subaru, and who can forget Volvo! the list goes on even mitsu made wagon versions of the Mirages and had them sporting 1.8 DOHC Turbo AWD motors! wagons are slam them with a nice kit and rims they'll look very sleek plus the extra room for those who go to the mountains like me
