Heater on causes vibration?
Hey guys,
Got a weird issue, not sure if it's just a one off thing. About 30 minutes ago I started the car and I turn on the heat. I was idling for no longer then 3 minutes and everytime the car make a click noise (common thing I hear since Day 1 of owning the car - purchase new) the car vibrates and it's VERY noticable.
When I turn the heat off this doesn't happen. When I have the heat on and driving it doesn't happen. When I have the heat on and driving and finally get to where im going and park it, I feel the vibration again.
Thoughts? No check engine or anything and did all the maintance recently at 60k (at 62k currently).
Thanks
P.S. It's a grinding noise along with the vibration felt throughout the car. VIdeo uploaded. Blower motor is done?

Is the compressor on (windshield defog setting)?
If it is fine in the floor heat (a/c button 'off') then your a/c compressor may be getting ready to fail.
If it is related to fan speed (independent of any other setting (i.e heat/defog, etc.) then it may be some debris in the blower/fan motor. Drop the blower motor and inspect.

Wish I could be of help, but I might add I get the same issue whether the A/C is running or not. In Tucson we've recently started freezing up on a daily basis, and the car makes tons of noise; random tapping sounds in the dash going over bumps, seat belt areas creaking, similar plastic rattling sounds in the rear, etc.

Apparently one of my zip ties for the vacuum lines snap and the line had just enough slack that it kept hitting the fan. Eventually got caught one the 3 time I tried. Barely enough plastic on the line left by the time I found the issue. Not even sure how it held boost with such small material left. Swapped out the vacuum line and no issue.
