Hybrid Boost Control

Is this correct as far as running the vacuum lines?

Edit too much irrelevant info . Yes I believe that is correct , unless the bcs goes before the mbc. I think it would work the same though

I started going on and on about hybrid boost control on a subaru but they have tps s wgdc we don't

Gotya. Yea i did a search and couldn't find much info on it for the Evo guys, let alone a diagram for it. Figured I'd start a thread on it. Anyone with pics of there setup please post. Thanks

Tephra roms have a max WGDC vs TPS table if that's what you're talking about.

I have a question about this setup, if im using a hallman mbc do i need to tap off the little bleeder hole that has one of the mbc barb( the one that goes to the wastegate) sorry for my english guys

I found this but it doesnt mention anything about the bleeder hole of the mbc

I think the perfect person to talk about this is Tom aka tscomptuned because he have plenty of evos he tuned and did with this setup, maybe he could spread some good knowledge on this thread

I read on a suby forum that this hole needs to be tap off or you will be overboosting but i dont know if is the same on the evo

Just not the same as a subie .. It's a 3d map

Evo vs subie use two different concepts .. We use it to eliminate boost taper. Subies use it because small turbo's tend to ptfb which is problematic in some instances

are you trying to replicate evox stock twin solenoid boost control but with a 3port+mbc? I mean device1 sets the basic boost level, device2 deals with fluctuations..
