I recently purchased this Evo and this seems to be the last code I need to get rid of to pass emissions. The car is running a speed density setup using the Fuel Temp Sensor I believe. Is there any way to get rid of this code short of buying an IAT sensor and hooking it up? I tried searching and never really found an answer to this. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

You should probably confirm its setup properly in the settings first. What setting is the IAT sensor set to? 0x03 or 0x0E?

So it looks like it reads -40 flat all the time. I am new to this so bare with me. Where is that setting located at in ECUFlash?

Seems like its set for the Front MAF plug inout and not the fuel temp sensor. Is this in an Evo? I see that you have a DSM in your profile.

SD Option: Hex 0E. I assume that is what you are asking for? or is there another place I should look?

03 GSR is what this is for and what I have.

Would a lacking sensor even return a value? My gm iat that went bad stuck at one value but never threw a code

0E means its set for the fuel temp sensor but yours doesn't seem to be functioning correctly.

So this was using one of those obdii scanners. That is where i am getting the code from. I will check Air Temp in Evo Scan in a minute to compare.

The formula for Air Temp Scaled is 1.8*x-40 so if the signal is zero it will read -40 like he was seeing. Fuel temp sensor is located in the middle of the fuel tank. I haven't seen one to bad before but it's always possible.

Yeah. I don't know how many connectors might be between the sensor and the ECU though. It cod always be a bad connection somewhere.

I spoke to the previous owner and he say that is fine it's a SD thing. The car starts and drives fine they way it is currently configured.It would have to be getting a good reading from somewhere in order for that to be true i would think.

When loggin via EvoScan it returns a -85 constantly.

Edit: Based on your other post looks like i am looking at the wrong value on EvoScan. I will log that today to see if it is working.

Will any of this cause me to get the CEL Code of P0110? I can't figure out how to disable the code. That is my only concern really....

So i have verified that the temp is working correctly. I was loggin air temp in EvoScan when i should have been looking at Mar Air Temp Scaled. That is reporting a actual value.

My obdii scanner think i have a bad IAT circuit. How do i fix that? Does that code affect my ability to pass emissions?
