Yeah, I've thought about that. For low air flow conditions where the MAF causes no restriction, the MAF-SD based VE table should be fine. Regions of the table representing higher air flow rates may need some tweaking. Can probably look at the power gains for a set boost level and use that as a basis for increasing VE, i.e., if power increases by 5%, then raise VE by 5%.

Ot a little but I'm trying to understand more about engine controls - will the "airflow model" be changed or will it be factory- in fact what do people mean by airflow model? Is it just the equation ?

Just read the entire thread. Looks quite interesting! I have a car that this can be tested on when ready. I'd agree with keeping it as load based.

I do not disagree at all with charging for this rom. But it does IMO oblige you to a certain level of "support" to the clients.

If closed loop is enabled the trims will give you a good idea of what the difference is. Or you can log the difference in load generated with taking the maf off and adjust the 3D table accordingly.

I know you're probably up to your eyeballs in work mrfred but what's the progress on this? I'm curious cause I got a customer I'm working on with the 3d SD maps and I can only use the 9417 variant due to the stutter with 9653. Yet the 9417 has the warmup enrichment issues so its kinda irritating.

Maybe an ETA on testing?

Been watching this thread for a while now. Is this patched publicly released yet? And will it be around the same cost what Tephra is charging for the Vin locked V2 for the EvoX?
