Evo 9 Fp black - jms tuned 501whp 381tq
finally had my car tuned completely
evo 9
full bolt ons
kelfords
spoolinup cop
map compgate external w/ 21 psi spring
fp black ported
fp intake w/ perrin filter
halman mbc
e85 30psi
jms racing double pumper
stock block w/ headstuds
had previously had my car "partially" tuned on 93 and made 401whp & 318tq, turned out i had alot of issues that i overlooked. after fixing the homemade downpipe/testpipe combo that wasnt a true 3 inch, i decided to make the jump to e85, since its always hot here in texas ( i just moved here in Sept) and seemed like the rest of the people on e85 didnt have any probs w/ the heat like i was. Jorge at JMS was cool as $..t easy to talk to, even let me re-dyno my car to get a real before and after. car had some issues starting uphill from a stop and runs way smoother since the tune... would highly recommend to anyone.
i will be linking up with my original tuner and retuning today on ecu controlled boost
results to follow
for clarification the vdr of jms's tune had more than 30psi on the street. at the time i had a stock map sensor, so i relied on my boost gauge. i would say at least say it was at 32psi. when i got back w/ tom to retune the car, he advised me to get a ebcs, so i did and addded an omni to see what kinda boost i was really making.

a few days later in 100deg heat i ran a best of 11.9 at 118, felt like i coulda went faster, but that evo9 4th gear really sucks, lol.
btw, this is a full weight gsr, with two amps, 2-12" subs in a false floor(dynomatted) and on 18" rota's w/ 255-30s. oh and first time at the track since i bought the car new back in 2007.

Too bad we never got to meet up here at FTCKY.
You should def go to TX2k12 if you're still going to be in TX come March.
Did they tune it to keep the TQ down with the stock bottom end to prevent speed-holes?
Either way, 500 is fun on the street, isn't it?

yeah, you were pretty hard to get ahold of. yeah, ill b here, i def wana roll to that, im stabilized here for 2 years so hopefully at least get to go twice.
yeah, its my daily, so trying to be careful. is ur bottom end stock? cuz ur torque is pretty high
yeah, i've had a car w/ more power as a street car before... but it was fwd, its nicer to have a car that doesnt feel like a racecar until you want and traction galore

I was kind of a phantom...
I still have the stock bottom end, I know I'm well into the danger zone with the E85 tune, yours looks much safer. I don't even have head studs.
Semi random: What do you have to do for vehicle inspections in TX? I might end up based out of Fort Sam Houston.
