Exhaust question for Evo owners
I am wanting to get a new exhaust for my Evo but I would like one that will give me good gains but will not be so loud that every Cop within a mile hears me. So the question is this to all other Evo owners out their who have bought an exhaust system for their Evo's how does it sound and how would you rate it's performance?

not any science to it...?
a 3" pipe is not a 3" pipe... different mfgs exhaust will make different gains... plus there's the workmanship, and how it will bolt up, and how long it will last...
I've yet to make an exhaust decision... but i'm leaning towards the H & A... only 2.5" piping as i will not be upgrading the turbo...

I just got a good compromise size 70mm or about 2.75", stock is about 2.35 - I'm not planning for major HP in the future.
It's a great looking canister full stainless by gram lights (Rays -Volks). The tip sticks out a little farther than the JIC, and the plastic bumper wasn't even hot after a long turbo cool down. Probably like the rest, it's quiet, just lower tone and a little louder under WOT. I'll post pics soon.
I'm also tring some of their Espelir super down springs, noticably stiffer than stock, but the stock shocks seem to have enough damping,at least for hard road driving, I'll track test them later this month.

I just installed my Espelir JGT500R (got it from worldone) yesterday and it sounds great. Low rumble at startup/idle and a little louder when you get on it, but not to loud or abnoxious. The fitment is great which made the install easy. Garrett from worldone will answer any and all questions (great customer service)...hoped that helped.

I have an HKS Hi Power with an HKS down pipe and think the sound is great. It isn't too loud and doesn't drone, but gives great performance. A friend had the HKS with a B&B down pipe and it was a little louder. Also, he couldn't ever get the B&B to fit right and ended up buying an HKS dp.
