David Buschur's RS, just finished up with new pics...

My car is back together and it's badder than ever. I just wanted to post up some engine bay pictures and underneath the car so you could all see what I put together this year.

The car is running BR Stage 3 standard bore 2 liter, Stage 3 head, BF272 cams, 1,000 cc injectors, BR double pumper fuel system, AEM EMS, BR lightweight battery kit, BR upper and lower 2.5" i/c pipes, BR ported stock intake manifold, BR 65mm throttle body, BR race FMIC, HTA35R turbo kit with T3 turbine housing, BR 3" turboback with Vband and JDM special rear section, BR Coil on plug ignition and a Tilton twin carbon clutch.

Listing it like this the list seems short, that's the list for the driveline.

The car just made 643 whp and 510 ft lbs of torque. Running C16 only.

Last year the car had our cast manifold on it with the GT35r and made 542 whp and was able to run 9.97 at 142.32 mph on radials.

Goals for this new combination is 150 mph trap speeds and to better the 9.97.

Enjoy the pictures.

Thanks for viewing.

Do you perceive there to be any downside to running a 3" inlet tube on the S cover?

I like the power you make through the stock intakes.

Just to be clear, this is not a loaded question as I am truly curious if you have done any testing.

David -- I am very interested in the intake (looks like it may be a cold air induction)...If it is CAI, will you be offering this for the 9s? (If so, I'd like one and the UICP and small battery setup)....It looks really nice BTW...

Looks good I would also like to know more about the manifold. Also what would you contribute most of the 100whp gain from? The turbo, tuning, or a combo of things.

I think that CAI only fits an evo without ACD, because that's where the Tank sits for it... maybe you could modify yours?

that does look like a full race manifold. either that or someone else copied full race design.

Hi Dave,

What do you attribute the almost 100 whp improvement from the previous spec? What is different between the two?

New cams, GT35, ??

Was the previous spec of your RS a 2.3 w/GT35?

Quick Reply: David Buschur's RS, just finished up with new pics...
