Oil leak after clutch install...

I installed my new clutch/flywheel this past weekend and afterwards I have a leak coming from the passenger side of the transfer case. It's definitely tranny fluid and it's coming out of the seal where the passenger side axle attaches to the transfer case (on the transfer case).

When working on the car this weekend I pulled the passenger side axle and used bungy cords to hold the transfer case to the side. I didn't pull the shaft out of the transfer case from the passenger side which is why I'm wondering why it's leaking there... I've done a lot of searching and I've read that the o-rings between the transfer case and tranny often cause a lot of problems.

So my question is... Could one of these o-rings be causing this leak or is it just the seal on the passenger side of the transfer case? Like I said I didn't mess with the seal so it's #2 on my list after the o-rings unless somebody else has a better idea. My car has 65,000 miles on it now if that helps.

Any help would be appreciated

you answered your own question. You can easly damage the o ring when you move the T-case around.

Yeah, I'm definitely leaning toward that but it just seems like if the o-ring was bad it would leak where the transfer bolts to the tranny in my mind. I just don't want to tear everything apart 3 times...
