How reusable are oem flywheel bolts ($18.41) vs ARP bolts, are ARP (107-2803) ($38) more reusable?

If ARP is more reusable because I accidentally rounded a couple of oem bolts. There is a difference of $19.59 in price so do ARP bolts wear out?

I posted in the other flywheel bolt thread. But I did have a buddy who sheared off some stock flywheel bolts making around 750whp. I was aiming for around the same power so I went with ARP Bolts... I didn't notice if they were any longer or not.. but I torqued everything down accordingly and no issues this far. Hoping for the best because now im a bit paranoid lol

I think you're missing the point of this thread..

Did he over torque them? A lot of variables that could be unmentioned here.
But he ARP flywheel bolts are longer

I've made 906 (corrected) whp and countless passes and pulls on stockers. If you install em right I don't think they're really something to worry about.

I wouldn't think so, but its certainly possible. It didn't take too long for it to happen either.. I think he only had about 1,000 miles on the motor. But I agree, a lot of variable's.
