Picked up a head, mine was pretty pitted and nasty even after decking it (looks to have had a terrible life before I got a hold of it).

Anyway, I got this head, it has a light port / polish job and 1mm + valves. I was stripping it down to deck it etc. and I found 1 valve is different from the rest.

The exhaust valve on the right (labeled as 11) is what all the others look like. The exhaust valve on the left is the odd one.

I'd like to replace the odd one, but I don't know what these other valves are. I know this is not a lot to go on, but figured someone who is more familiar with oversize evo valves might have an idea on what brand the valve on the right side is!?

the one odd one is the factory original. the others are likely cheap replacements. no one who works on head and cheaps out like that is gonna be buying anything quality.

Factory? They are both 1mm oversize - I measured.

factory or not. anyone who mis matches valve brands? stay away, far away.

I got the head for nothing.

But, the buddy who gave it to me, doesn't know the history on it. It had dual springs in it. Do they make factory 1mm oversize valves is what I was referring to in my last post.

Since I have nothing invested, maybe it would be worth sending the head off to have it flowed and checked out?
