Hey guys, I did my homework and could NOT find any posts about this, so I have an 03 evo 8, no front or rear LSD from what I know, I wanna change my tcase and diff fluid, I know that the diff has the plates in there so it will be okay to use LSD oil in there, but the TCASE calls for hypoid gear oil (GL-5 SAE90) in the service manual, Well, that's not what the parts guy at Mitsubishi said, he gave me LSD oil for the tcase, and now I wanna know if its okay to put the LSD oil in the 03 TCASE, isn't it a viscous coupling unit? and if it is, can I still use diaqeen LSD oil in it? Your responds would be much appreciated

The Diaqueen LSD 90 stuff that the dealer gave you is fine, that's what I ran before I changed it to Redline. I'm fairly certain that's the only diaqueen fluid they make anymore.
