Can a blown turbo seal mess up the engine?
My Evo 8 has been producing a lot of smoke out of the exhaust everytime i hit it or when i throw it 5th and speed up to 60. Basically whenever I start pushing a good anount of boost. Just recently have i started to notice is leaking out of the hood. The smoke is white and never does it do it when on idle or normally cruising. Ive checked the pipe coming out of the hot side of the turbo and their is some type of mix. Looks kind of thick and white. Ive already got a new turbo on the way so im just driving it as is until i get the new turbo in. Would it or can that mess with the engine?

It won't hurt anything. Just check your engine oil regularly and keep it topped off.

People run catch cans to keep oil out of the engine. Oil causes detonation. Run the engine hard enough with oil ingestion and cause damage.
Did you replace the PCV valve with OEM. I and others have encountered aftermarket PCV valves that pressurize the crankcase. This can cause the turbo to dump oil into the intake.

If you have an air compressor rig up some hose with the regulator turned down to low pressure. The PCV valve should pass air in one direction (towards the manifold) and seal in the other direction. In a pinch you could do this test with your breath.

It can.... anything can happen.
I would atleast check how much shaft play the turbo has. You dont want your turbo wheels hitting the housing and chipping, then making it in to your cylinders.
Probably unlikely but YOU never know.
